Life is a crowd of commitments.

I am the father of two children. The older one is just over two years old, and the youngest is under five months old.

I am the husband of the extraordinary woman with whom I share the adventure with our two children.

I am the son of two elderly and distant parents who need my help and comfort.

I'm a technical writer from 9 to 5 and the Note Strategist you're reading about in this article.

Each role involves responsibilities that feed on my time and quickly exhaust it in a chaotic whirlwind of daily commitments. So, where do I find the time and concentration to read?

Does all this sound familiar to you?

You feel the need to read - to learn new skills, carry out projects, or enrich your knowledge - but does it seem impossible? My recipe could be helpful to you. It's 3-step and, for me, works:

  • Stop unintentional content consumption
  • Use the smartphone as the primary reading device
  • Take smart notes
