How Medium Lists Help Me Grow as a Writer.

Last year, I became overwhelmed and super excited at the possibility of making money by blogging. The problem was, that I did not have experience in that kind of writing, and I was (still am) so desperate to learn and absorb everything I could to get better. Medium reading lists are helping me curate all the amazing and useful information I find on this platform. And curation, I am told, is also one way to find a profitable niche. Here is what I found:

1. Amazing writers producing invaluable content

One of the best things to do when you join the Medium Partner Program, is not so much writing and getting paid — as a newbie, and unless you know exactly what you are doing, you’ll find that your earnings are nothing to get excited about. However, the very best thing you can do instead is to READ TONS from more experienced writers.

I don’t want to deflate anyone’s hopes, but Medium is mostly a long game. Not that many people succeed in just a few months, and it is not healthy to compare yourself to them. We are all so different. And that is why I find it so useful to identify where my learning needs to improve, read stories on Medium that are full of value, and save them on a new reading list on my…
