Honestly? I wanted to write about how to maximize your potential in 2025, and how to map out New Year’s resolutions like I did last year. But you know what? I thought this usually gets too much.
Many benevolent content creators relish the December period and share an avalanche of content on how to make the next year a success. Which I understand. I consume such content to a great extent. However, it could get overwhelming and sometimes it might be suggestive of something being wrong in the first place.
My question is: What if…? What if we change the narrative and start by embracing the dictum that Life is not always perfect? Sometimes, we map out our lives for the next 12 months, and then when life quakes occur, we push our goals aside and get into survivor mode. Then we clock in December of that year and beat ourselves up for not achieving our goals. 😭
What I am saying is that in the process of goal setting, we forget to take stock of our blessings and start unlearning to be CONTENT.
