The phenomenon is in one of Napoleon Hill’s lesser-known books, “Outwitting the Devil”. The controversial book has Napoleon in constant dialogue with the Devil, who makes him confess all the ways he uses to control humans.

This law creates permanency in everything. It also solidifies one’s habits. Good or bad alike. The negative habits we do subconsciously daily are a product of the hypnotic rhythm.

For example, negative thought patterns propel us slowly to overeat and smoke over time. It becomes so subconscious that we do not think before doing them.

However, we can break free from it and use it to solidify positive habits.

Think of the hypnotic rhythm as a law of our subconscious. Brushing teeth in the morning has become a permanent part of our lives. I sometimes brush my teeth subconsciously during the day and realise afterwards what I did.

This is all due to the rhythm that has been created. How is it created? In a three-step process.

Action — Habit — Rhythm
