I Made A Huge Mistakes When Sharing My Medium Stories on X

It’s so easy
I guess that’s why I started doing it automatically without thinking whether it was smart.
But when my husband gained more X followers than me within only a few months I knew something was off.
Of course, he’s writing in another niche, and for another audience, he’s a software developer and educates others on .NET for instance.
However, by analyzing his channel we saw that his best-performing tweets were those without a link to his YouTube channel or newsletter.
In comparison, I’m busy.
You could also call me lazy.
I simply hit the share icon on Medium and share my stories with the X fam.
I get some clicks from this, I see this in my stats but the question is, is it worthwhile?
