I love routines!

I love watching movies alone, on a Saturday night in my comfy clothes. I always have a long week at work. So hanging out with people or doing something more purposeful feels like a chore. All I want is to chill and mind my own business!

Is it that bad? No, it’s not.

Well…To some extent! We need our moments of recharging in our unique ways and the spaces we find guilty comfort the most, could help. But the problem lies elsewhere.

If it gets too much, we block our potential, growth, and spontaneity.

The irony here is that you and I know how self-destructive swimming in our comfort zone too much can be. So why?

Why is it so difficult to break free?

In my journey to breaking free from my comfort zone, here are the obstacles that I discovered made my comfort zone more difficult to leave behind:

  1. Comfort in Predictability: Knowing the outcome of my routine beforehand, made it difficult to venture into something of uncertain results.
