Isn’t Confidence Just Like Your Credit Score?

Isn’t confidence or having confidence just like your credit score?
It takes a whole lot to build it up and so little for it to go down,
Years in the making even
and boost after boost…
Once it is high, the task, somehow, is still not finished,
It takes more work and maybe blood, sweat, and tears just to keep it up,
Then, there are those check-ins and the need for periodic monitoring,
Still, it is so fickle and yet so important,
Once it has peaked though,
You can do just about anything and obtain anything,
The attention and people just seem to line up,
Secret letters in the mail,
Warm and fuzzy e-mails,
One bad decision and one heavy need later you are criticized, denied, and left down in the dumps,
Low utilization equals high commendation,
High utilization equals no rewards and maybe sharp words,
The work is still never done,
As there will be good months and bad months,
The cycle is endless,
No sympathy is even given when you are running a little low,
As the weight of them each are your responsibility,
No one cares about the scam or the person that lied and made you cried,
You have to do your due diligence or
You will get denied,
That hat, that dress, and those shoes look great in the mirror but, even better without the blues.
Hmmm… which is which? I don’t know.
