Nowadays, controversies can be created easily especially if you are a public figure. Most celebrities put their thoughts or opinions on social media platforms. Some of them receive backlash because their thoughts are conflicting with the rest of the crowd. In the end, they apologize for the comments made by them. But in some cases, I believe that the celebrities are trying to give thoughtful advice, but it's often being twisted and turned against them. And the negatives get followed faster without the proper understanding of the facts.

The Domination of Opinions over News

But does it have any news value? Important news is being ignored and more news space is given to famous personalities' tweets. Too much attention is being given to statements made by them when it’s not needed. We need to focus more on actions than words.

Everyone has different opinions and most of the time, the opinions are not respected by others. There should be a healthy debate about topics instead of pointing out that there is only one side.

How Should We Respond to Such Opinions?

Even if someone made a remark against our belief, we should not get agitated. Yes, it’s natural to feel some resentment towards that person. But we need to understand that everyone has a different way of thinking and we cannot expect others to match our ideas. So respectfully move on from those issues.

In this technologically advanced era, we need to be careful about what we put online. There should not be any room for misinterpretations because I believe misinterpretations travel faster than actual facts.
