When the fire in the sky begins to die,

And slowly falls beneath the sapphire plains,

One can almost hear the mighty roar,

Almost see the shining helm,

As the King steps from his gleaming palisades,

And bids the sun farewell!

He’ll cast his net and spear our souls,

As his thunder rolls from the deep blue realms.

I’ll not forget that all he left upon this rock,

A memory lost of legends old,

And at every sunset — the perfect light from an eternal past!
