Many people around the world may have not heard about Pakistan, and those who have might have a wrong impression of it. Pakistan, which is portrayed as a terrorist country by the media, is very peaceful and beautiful. There is no exaggeration in saying that not only Pakistan is enriched with vibrant colors of diverse cultures, but it is also famous for its numerous agricultural exports.

Pakistan a South Asian country, parted from India in 1947 under British rule, proceeded to have strong democratic, educational, and defense institutes. Pakistan borders China, India, Afghanistan, and Iraq and has strong ties with European and American countries. From start, Pakistan has been in a diplomatic relationship with the US and worked closely with it over a range of issues such as energy crises, military, counterterrorism, and others.

If you are the one, shortlisting the places you want to visit so, throw Pakistan into your bucket list. Apart from its international relations and geographic importance, Pakistan is renowned for its natural beauty. Pakistan contains diverse cultures as it is a melting pot of Indians, East Asians, Persians, and Afghans. There are numerous languages spoken, most prominent among them are Pashto, Punjabi, Balochi, and Sindhi. The major religion in Pakistan is Islam, containing 90 percent Muslim with other minorities like Christian, Hindus, and Sikhs. Many ethnic groups differ in bloodline, features, heritage, and values but still the one common goal of Pakistan’s prosperity keeps them united.

Pakistani people are famous for their patriotism, colorful attires, and beauty. Yes, you heard it right; Pakistanis have a tan, brownish skin color with men usually having thick beards. Pakistani cultural dress is shalwar qameez (wide trousers with long shirts), which are mostly embodied for women and plain for men. Each province has its cultural dress and other accessories like jewelry, hair ornaments, and shoes.

Pakistani people are crazy for spicy food, music (ghazals and qwalis), and Cricket. Every youngster is a fan of Cricket and would love to talk about it for hours and hours. Pakistani people savor the strong spices, the symbol of the sub-continent and their favorite food is Biryani. Pakistan has a growing music industry with very talented singers like Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Ali Sethi, Atif Aslam, and many others. Not only this Pakistan has produced several ingenious writers, and their works have been translated and read around the world.

Pakistani people celebrate lengthy weddings that are traditional of three days but can span over a week or two in some families. There are some pre-wedding functions like Dhulki, Mayoun, and Mehendi and some after the wedding like Walima. The bride wears a heavy red dress on main day, and the groom wears Sherwani. On this day both bride and groom sign papers and are declared officially husband and wife. At Pakistani weddings a variety of cuisines are served; each wedding has at least eight to ten dishes.

If you are a wanderlust and travel freak let me tell you, Pakistan entails the world’s beautiful places like Sakardu, Naran, Azad Kashmir, Neelam Valley, and other enchanting sights that can leave you speechless. Not only this but if you are planning to come, you will meet very humble and amiable people, with the cheapest stay and food. The Capital of Pakistan-Islamabad is a must-see because it is ranked as the world’s second most beautiful Capital.

It makes me sad that a lovely country like Pakistan does not have much tourism just because it was once subjected to terrorism. With time, and with great democratic and military efforts, Pakistan regained its peacefulness and I would love to see my country hosting people. Whether you are looking for ancient history, nature, or mesmerizing sights, Pakistan is the best choice and its unique culture will show you why.
