Live smarter, not harder
My mother — who is exceptionally wise — always said “experience is the best teacher”.
She was right. There’s nothing like Being There in real life (for better or worse), experiencing something for yourself, and learning from your successes — and especially your mistakes.
The latter is known as “learning the hard way”, a concept all-too-familiar to almost everyone.
Guess what? (Grins.)
There is also such a thing as learning the easy way (!).
Learning the easy way might not be as (often painfully) memorable as learning the hard way, but it can be equally effective. We can learn just as well either way.
Learning the easy way is watching someone else learn the hard way, and then “note to self”ing their newfound wisdom through hard lessons learned. It’s almost like learning by proxy.
That’s what I’m going to do for you today — help you learn the easy way, from my mistakes. And hopefully, you can bypass that “hard way” part of learning.
