Step Outside Your Comfort Zone
Seek what’s uncomfortable
It is important to step outside your comfort zone.
I am not an extroverted person, so talking to random people is a little hard for me.
Last month I tried going door to door to sell a lawn mowing service. It would have been a one-day only thing where I would cut their grass for $20-$30 because I really needed the money.
I told my mom and dad about it and even told them to get ready for me to take their truck for all the tools and machines needed to cut people’s grass.
I went to knock on about 10–12 houses, and not a single one opened their door.
In terms of the goal I had in mind for this, I failed. But here’s the thing, I may not have made any money, but I got out of my comfort zone.
Doing this helped me gain so much confidence in myself, and I feel like I’m capable of doing so much more now.
I put myself through an uncomfortable situation, and even though I could’ve stopped after the second or third house, I kept on going.
This can be you.
Of course not in the exact same situation, but you should be stepping out of your comfort zone.
Put yourself in those uncomfortable situations
Keep breaking down those mental barriers,
And you will begin to become unstoppable.
