According to Exploding Topics, the hashtag “slowlife” now appears in 5.5 million posts on Instagram and 555 million views on TikTok.

Where Did the Slow Living Concept Come from?

The slow living movement stems from the slow food movement, a movement that began in Italy in the 1980s as a backlash against fast food culture. The founders of the movement believed that food should be enjoyed, not just eaten, and should be prepared and consumed with care and attention. From there, the slow movement has expanded to various aspects of life, including fashion, travel, and even work.
