Weird Things That Happened in the 1990s: Music Edition

A fight at a punk rock concert that ended with an apology, free CDs for children, plus my favorite song from the 1990s.

My favorite genre of music is alternative rock music from the 1990s, and I wanted to share some fond memories of listening to music from this time. I wasn’t always cool, and I didn’t always listen to alternative rock music. I spent most of my childhood listening to country music and pop music. Before switching to country music, my dad listened to 1970s-1980s rock music. My parents were divorced and I didn’t spend very much time with my dad, so unfortunately, I didn’t get to listen to rock music often.

It’s funny how music contains so many memories. We can hear a song and be transported to the past, to the first time we listened to the song, or to an event that exists in our minds but is nearly forgotten until triggered by that song. Music is a key to our memories, and I would like to unlock some special memories to share today. I would like to share the evolution of my musical tastes.
