Finding inner peace come easy for some, but for others, it’s one hell of a rollercoaster, a journey many turn away from with fear. But finding yourself is the true key is happiness, love, abundance and wealth.

Only by finding and knowing your true self, can you love you. And when you love you, the world also loves you.

You glow when you move, your smile can heal a wounded heart, and the world around you will always be at peace.

Do you know people like this? People who seem to have it all?

If you do, then you must faintly have realized the truth to their happy existence.

I, on the other hand, am proud to wave my flag, and happy to be a part of this group. And you can too.

Here are my tips, for finding and loving yourself.

1) Finding who you truly are

Yes, many hate this topic, but it’s true.

I recall hating this discovery too, but knew it was something I had to do.

On a quiet rainy day, I stared out my window, and found my thoughts drifting all over the place. Just like the sun, I believe the rain is also magical.

I love the rain, it’s a gift from above, and I find the soothing noise allows me calm focus more deeply.

On such a day, I decided to sit with myself, with a notebook and pen, while staring at the mirror. Yes, as many of you might have guessed, I started interviewing myself.

Who am I? Who am I really?

Whether many accept it or not, they go about their days wearing masks. To many people, you are many things. You never live your true life, always afraid of what others might think of you.

But you don’t realize that while you are out making everyone happy, your inner being, your true self, is not. So how can you expect complete love to resonate from within?

Staring at the mirror, I began writing everything that made me ME. Not the superficial things, but the things in my core, the very fiber of my being.

What were my flaws? What were the things about myself that I loved? What were my beliefs? What were my values?

By understanding who I really was, I found myself inwardly happy for me honestly.

This was the first step, the first step into finding inner peace.

Why? Because now, I could draw the line, making myself happy, as well as many others.

Always remember that your true self will always be the best version of you.

2) Finding your purpose and passion

Well, no matter how many people roll their eyes at this step, I feel it is something that must be done.

In life, too many people are rigid, and too afraid of change. But unless you try, you will never know what’s on the other side.

Deep down, everyone knows their passion. Some people are passionate about helping animals, others are passionate about knitting, and some are passionate about becoming motivational speakers.

For others, they dream of becoming mothers, day and night because it is their dream. Running a home is their dream.

I once met a woman in her late 20s, who was seen as Superwoman by everyone around her.

In her home, she did the maintenance, she natured gardens, she lowered the cost of living for her household, and even built a small Airbnb at her backyard with her own 2 hands.

Her home was immaculate, her food was divine and her children were always neat and well-put together.

She loved doing these things from the depts. of her heart, and made her home flourish with abundance. Even if her husband and loved ones tried helping, she would talk them out of it because she loved taking care of them and her home.

I also know of a man who loved knitting. His friends would laugh at him for being a muscular man who loved knitting like a ‘girl.’

But guess what? He opened he began marketing his skills to those in the neighborhood, and many mothers started buying the scrunchies and cardigans he made.

The last time I saw him, he was doing so well, that I planned to open his very own store and transform his knitting into a full-time job.

Life has a funny way of blessing people.

Everyone has a passion, and I’m no exception to this.

Writing has always been a passion of mine, and even if I have to spend an hour or 2 to do it, I never punish my inner being by stopping.

I love my inner self, and my inner self loves writing.

Even if you have to do your passion as a hobby, DO IT!

You will be amazed by how much more the world rewards you for this.

Opportunities will flood your way, leaving you confused at how easy they came.

Make your inner self happy, and your happiness will attract abundance from your surroundings.

3) Don’t be too rigid

I can’t stress enough how important this matter is.

Did you know the famous actor, Gerard Butler, went to law school and graduated with honors?

How did he go from becoming someone who studied law to someone now acting?

It all boiled down to the choices he made when life presented him with a question.

When life asks you what you will do about your current predicament, it always leaves a door open for you.

They say opportunities come but once.

This saying is somewhat true, as they are very rare. But when it comes, it usually resonates with one of your dreams, the dreams your true self understands.

So why are you afraid?

Let your imagination fly. Let your dreams and hopes touch the sky.

4) Believe in Yourself and your abilities.

Believe, believe, believe.

Don’t live on someone else’s benchmark.

Just because they say you can’t do it, doesn’t make it true. At the same time, recognize your abilities and take what you truly believe you can handle.

Go out in life, knowing you have everything it takes to succeed.

You are wealth, you are love, and you are abundance in the flesh.

Because you now have a close relationship with yourself, your abilities will shine so brightly that they will need 100 fire trucks to put you out.

Never, ever doubt how amazing you are.

Tell yourself this, and express gratitude for your brain, your true nature, your amazing body, your good looks, and everything else about you.

Your hands are precious jewels that can create marvelous works.

You are life, you are love, you are peace, you are abundance, you are happiness, and you are wealth.

In conclusion, only by knowing your true self, can happiness resonate from your soul and translate to everything around you.
