I had a show in my backyard for all twelve of my housemates to culminate the end of summer. I tell my life story from the miracle surgery I had when I was born to an absurd previous marriage I had against my mother’s approval. It’s largely about being a weird black girl navigating an even weirder world.

Alia Atkins is a 20 year old absurdist poet and comedian studying at the University of Southern California. She’s also always on antibiotics.
