Now, Facebook provides the latest update of Messenger app for android and iOS that will have ability to call group VOIP (voice over internet protocol) call from any group chat. Although Facebook added one to one audio calling in 2014, there is no VOIP call for group chat. So, this is a big feature of Facebook messenger for adding VOIP group chat. To take this feature, just tap the phone icon and select which members you want to involve in group chat. Once you’re dial, the app dials will appear each of group members and they can answer on Messenger.

Facebook limits maximum 50 members for group calling feature. Due to this update, Facebook Messenger can be competitive with Google Hangouts, Microsoft’s Skype, and slack that all provides free group calling.
