Messenger Chatbots Can Now Add Quick Reply Buttons and Send Gif in Conversations

Since Facebook launched Messenger platform to build bots for social network’s messaging services in April, many businesses and developers joined and built over 11000 bots have launched on Messenger. Now, Messenger platform gets an update today and adds new functionality to bots and improve user experience. Bots can now display buttons for quick replies which include ten dynamic buttons. Persistent menu also making easier for people to communicate without having to type several commands.

You can also send GIF, audio, video and other files to people using your bot in Messenger. Videos and audio clips play natively in Messenger. That’s handy for things like sharing direction to revenue and restaurant menu PDFs.

User can also rate the bots send feedback to developers which will be available to view privately in a dashboard.

As well as, Facebook is launching a new blog for bot builders, case research, masking ideas, a particular Q&A collection. The addition of buttons and menus will make bots feel more like dedicated apps for businesses, but it says to be seen simply how many individuals select to make use of them over apps and websites.
