CaterTrip — New Delivery Solution from Newcater
What are the differences between CaterTrip and other existing delivery solutions?
In Newcater platform, we cooperate with a number of delivery partners to cover the needs of having a widespread delivery network. Participants can search, manage orders and the process in the platform. Besides, we have developed an independent forwarding app with the aim of building and connecting the community, bringing in benefits and expanding the Ecosystem.
CaterTrip is a forwarding application that works partly in the same way as Uber app. It connects buyers, sellers and the community of travelers. Members of CaterTrip travel across different countries and destinations and help to deliver goods from sellers to buyers. They will receive incentives and have new relationships as well as assistance at the new places. CaterTrip is suitable for small orders that are easy to carry with luggage, or urgent or important orders. CaterTrip is not a common delivery app, it aims to connect people who share the same interest and personality. Participants of Catertrip is also the members of Cater Community from which they will receive trust reviews and ranking. Positive reviews will help them receive more orders to deliver and more assistance at the new destinations. In addition, participants with high ranking will be monthly rewarded.
Operational process: Members open the app on the phone then schedule for the trip about route, time, destination … and so on. The app will scan and pair the orders with the same route and time. A CaterTrip member have to prepare money in Cater Wallet because when the pairing is successful, the amount of money equivalent to the order value will be locked. A chat group among 3 parties will be scheduled and the CaterTrip member meet the seller, receive package and inspect, authenticate the transaction. Then, the seller will receive money. The Catertrip member will go on the trip and deliver the package to the buyer, receive payment and extra fees from the buyer, along with assistance as negotiated.
Example:
David, who lives in New York, has a passion for collecting and selling ancient watches. He posted an auction of a rare gold-plated watch on Newcater.com for a starting price of $1000. Vikrom, a Thai man, also has the same preference as the winner when setting the highest bid at the Cater value of $5000. Vikrom chose the form of delivery with CaterTrip, so the system searched and listed him with a list of those who have traveled from New York to Thailand and registered for delivery. Vikrom chose Peter, a high ranked Catertrip member, to be the delivery man for his item.
After discussing the rates with Vikrom, Peter authenticated his agreement and a number of Cater equivalent to $5000 in his wallet would be locked. Meanwhile, a chat group of Peter, Vikrom and David was created for mutual discussion. Peter went to meet David, inspected the package and confirmed for receipt. After that, the system was unlock and David received the payment in his Cater Wallet. Then, Peter started his journey with new orders because his luggage was within 10 kilos of hand-carry baggage allowance, and his cabin baggage was almost empty, which helped him carry the packages within tax free limit.
After delivering all the orders in Thailand, Peter received payment and the shipping charge. Also, he had some new friends who share the same interest. Peter, David and Vikrom all rated 5 stars and sent positive review for each other due to their satisfaction. Their ranks and transactions were transparently recorded on the blockchain, which makes their next trips and transactions easier and better.
