Using your BlueJeans web conferencing account in conjunction with your Slack account can create a business simpatico. Here’s how to mesh the two together into one symphony of easy-ness.

Integrate BlueJeans with Slack

All you need to do to integrate the two is to type /bluejeans in any Slack channel or direct message.

You will get this message from Slack:

Simply click on the link and click Save Integration.

Start a Meeting

Now that the two are integrated, you can start a meeting. Go back to Slack and type /bluejeans in the chat bar again.

Then, Slack will post a link for you to follow. Click on it.

The link will take you to a sign-in page. Put in your username or email, then click on the Next Step button:

Type in your password and click the Sign In button:

Click Allow:

I know that seems like a lot of work, but the first time is the hardest. From now on, all you need to do is type /bluejeans and your meeting name into the chat bar. Make sure there is a space between /bluejeans and your meeting name.

Then, click on Join & Moderate Your Meeting.

You’ll be transported to your meeting. Even better, a live link to the meeting will be posted in the chat, so all of your employees can join, too, with just a click.
