ChatGPT also has gained a lot of pro and contra among the users.

The users according to March 2023 survey of 1,024 Americans and 103 AI experts, 57% were men, 39% were women, and 4% were nonbinary or gender non-conforming. Further, 7% were baby boomers, 22% were Gen X, 62% were millennials, and 9% were Gen Z. ChatGPT itself has reached 100 million users and the website itself generates 1.8 billion visitors per month. Because of how convenient and useful ChatGPT is, the website can reach 1 million users in only 5 days. If we do a comparison between ChatGPT and one of the most used movie apps NETFLIX, it could take 3,5 years for Netflix to reach 1 million.

While ChatGP brings a lot of benefits, it is essential to know the disadvantages of ChatGPT. First off, chatting with an AI may decrease human-human interaction, especially in today’s world where all interactions can be done online. Furthermore, ChatGPT could cause students in school or college to rely on AI, which might result in a lack of critical thinking abilities which is the point of studying at the first place. ChatGPT may also replace human in the near future, people will lose their jobs and opportunities. Users of ChatGPT may also put their concern on sharing personal data and sensitive information because there is a risk of data leak.

While ChatGPT offers numerous advantages, it is important to consider its disadvantages. We as human beings need to be more careful about it, because it could backfire at any time.
