LINE will hold the LINE Blockchain Developers Meetup, an event for blockchain developers.

LINE Corporation will hold the LINE Blockchain Developers Meetup for blockchain developers on December 17th. The event is available in both English and Japanese.

The event will take place online from 18:00 to 19:40 on December 17. Participation is free.

Since the establishment of LINE Blockchain Lab in April 2018, LINE has been promoting various blockchain-related businesses throughout the Group, including the development of its own blockchain “LINE Blockchain”, the issuance of its own crypto-assets “LINK” based on that blockchain, and the operation of crypto-asset trading services “BITMAX” and “BITFRONT”. In August of this year, LINE launched LINE Blockchain Developers, a development platform that allows companies to easily and efficiently build blockchain services based on LINE Blockchain.

Services developed through the “LINE Blockchain Developers” have also been launched and the number of applications for the test environment now exceeds 200.

At the LINE Blockchain Developers Meetup, LINE developers will be demonstrating the development of dApps, and companies that have actually used LINE Blockchain will be giving detailed explanations of their services. The technical roadmap for LINE’s blockchain business will also be explained.
