Solar energy is transformative.

Clean, cheap, and infinitely abundant…and without that whole CO2/GHG/ environmental degradation problem. But, solar doesn’t really work at night.

Enter battery storage.

The missing link of infinite renewable energy is drawing closer all the time.

Battery storage technology is advancing at a rapid rate…but lithium ion batteries are still unstable… and tend to catch fire from time to time. 🙄

California Clean Energy Fund and CUBERG are leading the charge towards new and improved battery technology.

Cuberg is improving the energy density, safety and abuse tolerance of lithium ion batteries.

Cuberg have redesigned the battery from the ground up to address the major challenges of lithium-ion battery technology:

Safety, energy density and reliability.

AKA. More juice

…and less fires.

With early stage support from the California Clean Energy Fund, Cuberg is now backed by the Boeing Horizon X project. They are developing a safe and stable electrolyte that can deliver a next generation battery with greatly improved performance and reliability.

Cuberg’s technology may ultimately displace lithium-ion batteries with alternative battery technology that is safer and more reliable.

California Clean Energy Fund is backing the next generation of clean energy entrepreneurs powering our transition to 100% clean energy!
