Mentor-Mentee Portal
We know how hard the pandemic affected us, which forced students to shift from traditional chalk and board teaching method to Virtual teaching on Teams, Meet and Zoom. The online teaching mode couldn't provide the necessary resources that a student needs.
Here we bring you a Smart, Automated matchmaking system that matches Mentors and Mentees to provide necessary support and guidance.
Our project aims to connect mentees with mentors based on the preferences chosen. These mentors will guide the mentees through various aspects like career guidance, motivation and new tech domains.
As soon as the mentee registers on the website, they will be able to login into the portal.
The mentee will have the flexibility to choose the mentor by seeing the previous experience and his\her profession.
The portal would have the following features:
- Allow mentors and mentees to register and sign in to the website.
- Mentor verification by admin.
- Gather details and preferences of the mentees.
- A smart matchmaking system to pair mentees with a mentor.
Tech Stack used in the project :
- Frontend: HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Backend: Flask
- Database: SQLite
