Back in 1990s, the parents used to hate the gaming industry because they felt that their children had become very lazy and anti-social by playing games all day all night.

And they really can’t be blamed because they were right upto some extent !!

Playing games did make children dull and anti-social and were just stuck to their TVs, did not go outside and these factors would eventually lead them to loneliness.

Some years back, online multi-player gaming was launched, it did solve some problems, but the major problem was not addressed here also……gamers only had to sit and play these games, which made them physically very inactive :(

And the major problem here was this led to being obese and caused a lot of other health issues too !!

So me and my teammates decided to build a project using python, where we can play games using motion sensing, where the problem of less physical activity is solved and can be played with laptops too !!

Most of the motion sensing games are very expensive to buy for general public, because we have to buy many gadgets in addition for it, so why not use something that everyone has and is available for free…….OUR HANDS !!

Using OpenCV library, we can sense various motions like jumping and hand movement and adjust them in the game accordingly

Using PyAutoGUI, the motions are incorporated into the game such as auto keypress for example

Although the sensing is not perfect and there’s a slight delay reflected, we have written the code and used it for playing Super Mario game
