DeFi Base Camp Overview
What is DeFi Base Camp and what does it offer?
A collaboration between New Order and Outlier Ventures, DeFi Base Camp is a startup accelerator program targeting the next generation of builders.
The program is fully remote and lasts three months. Upon admission it offers up to $100,000 in funding with optional follow-on investments of up to $250,000 per team. Other benefits of the program include:

Since our launch eight months ago, New Order has incubated and launched projects across different verticals. Some notable efforts include Redacted, H2O, Y2K Finance, and more. In that time, we’ve developed an extensive network of crypto-native builders and experts. By partnering with Outlier Ventures, we are leveraging their experience from accelerating 120+ startups and raising a combined $200m+ across their portfolio.
Our first DeFi Base Camp concluded in early July with the graduation of six projects: Obey, Sumeria, IdentDeFi, Kima, Bright Union, and LazyTrade. These six teams were selected out of over 290 applicants, and raised a combined $3m in just under 12 weeks. More info on Cohort 1 here.
What makes DeFi Base Camp different?
At its core, DeFi Base Camp takes a hands-on approach so we can build alongside founders. This allows us to provide direct support across all areas critical to the success of early DeFi projects.
For three months, we deploy dedicated teams to act as co-founders to Base Camp projects. This ensures optimal product refinement, legal structuring, token model design, fundraising, liquidity sourcing, industry connections, and more.
