UPDATE: Victim Identified in Fatal Motorcycle Crash Investigation

Update May 31, 2022, 9:57 a.m.: The victim was identified as Robin Louise Ramsay, 51, of Poquoson, Virginia.

On Saturday, May 28, 2022, at approximately 7 p.m., Newport News police responded to a single-motorcycle crash at the intersection of Saunders Road and Daphia Circle.
An adult female motorcyclist was traveling westbound on Saunders Road when she took a turn on a curved road and crashed into a guard rail. The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene. No further information is available at this time. The investigation remains ongoing.
