This is what the LGBT community highly ignores and not wants to fight for.

Racism in LGBT is the serious issue that the community ignores and will not likely discuss about. Lots of people claims that it is their sexual preference to like certain race of people. However, many gay men and women bring the so-called preference to their workplace and social life. Is that still fine to do if this is the case?

Long time ago, I attended a LGBT networking event in Toronto. That was my last time to attend such rubbish event because all the white gay men only preferred networking with other gay white men. (Only two women working in HR talked to me. They were shocked that I was looking for hire some LGBT members for a project. ) The organisation claimed that they would do something but at the end nothing they would resolve.

These people used such networking event as a place for picking up other member because that is their sexual preference and that is their choice. In fact, they bring their preference to the public and affects other people in the professional level. I don’t think this is considered as private sexual preference anymore.

Dating app is another public where gay people like to communicate with others. The numbers of racists use the app are at the alarming level. Some of them are not even worrying and claim that it is their rights and choice.

It is indeed their rights and choice, but their rights or choices affect other people, that is not only rights anymore. When the dating app are for anyone to use, it can be considered as a public space.
