Today, we’re announcing big news. Honor is expanding to Texas, launching our personalized home-care service in Dallas-Fort Worth. And that’s just part of the news. We’re also opening our first Honor Care at Home education and resource centers in two Walmart store locations — North Richland Hills and Arlington.

Honor Care at Home centers make it easy for Walmart shoppers and families in the DFW community to learn about home care, get wellness and safety tips, plus recommendations for products that help older adults live safely and comfortably at home as they age.

“This is an exciting opportunity for Honor to work with the world’s largest retail company to offer families access to information about high-quality home care as well as ways to help Dallas-Fort Worth residents grow older in their own homes with joy, comfort and grace,” said Honor CEO and Co-Founder Seth Sternberg.

We make caring and learning easy.

Honor Care at Home centers offer helpful information in a friendly, relaxed environment. Family members concerned about an aging loved one — or their own well-being and safety at home — can drop by any day of the week between 10:00 a.m. — 6:00 p.m.. See a demonstration of the Honor Family App, speak with an Honor Brand Ambassador, or explore Honor recommended products and helpful tips on your own.

At either Honor Care at Home location, visitors can get a free in-store consultation and take home a report, including tips and personalized recommendations, to share with family members. For those who want additional information, Honor offers a comprehensive Care and Home Safety Assessment package for just $39.99, which will be applied to future care fees if you schedule Honor care.

We bring home safety ideas to you.

When you buy this package, Honor will come to your home or your parent’s home to do a thorough assessment of care needs and home safety. We evaluate the need for added help in the home to improve quality of life, health, and happiness — things like companionship, transportation, medication reminders, help with grocery shopping and meal preparation, or personal care and mobility support. Then we go through the home, room by room, looking for fall risks, other potential safety hazards, and things you can change or fix to make your home safer and more comfortable for older adults.

Learning about home care and home safety for our aging loved ones should be as easy as shopping for daily essentials. And now it is, in North Richland Hills and Arlington Walmart stores. Curious about what makes Honor different from other home care companies? Come on by and say hi.

But visiting our education and resource centers in Walmart isn’t the only way to learn about Honor. You can give us a call at (214) 494–8808 or visit us online.

We’re helping families in Dallas-Fort Worth and the Mid Cities.

We’re providing high-quality home-care service in Dallas-Fort Worth, starting in select communities in Dallas and Collin Counties and the Mid-Cities. Helmed by Honor General Manager Kathryn Parsons, our service in the region will expand rapidly over the next few months. Dallas-Fort Worth is the fourth fastest growing metro area in the US and home to more than 640,000 men and women aged 65 or older. This number is projected to rise to over 1 million by 2020. According to surveys, 9 out of 10 want to continue to live in their homes as they age.

Honor is in DFW to help make that happen, one hour of care at a time.

Honor began providing home care in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2015, later extending our service to the greater Los Angeles area. We’re proud to add Dallas-Fort Worth, helping a whole new community of families care for aging loved ones at home — with joy, comfort, and grace.
