- Putting more pressure on the Washington Redskins NFL team to change its offensive name, Amazon announced it will pull all of the team’s merchandise from its online store, CNN reports. Because yes, you can still buy a ton of stuff that says “redskins” in giant letters on it.
- Previously unheard audio of interviews from the investigation of the fatal police shooting of Breonna Taylor reveals new details about the events leading to her death, as well as the sympathetic approach investigators took while scrutinizing one of their own, states NBC News.
- And NYC has done it, there’s a Black Lives Mural on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, right outside of Trump Tower, reports The New York Times.
“Black lives matter in our city, and Black lives matter in the United States of America,” he said. “Let’s show Donald Trump what he does not understand. Let’s paint it right in front of his building for him,” said Mayor Bill de Blasio.
