So far, national governments have been the only ones to have sent spacecraft and people to the Moon.
Our closest celestial neighbor isn’t too far away and with the advances in technology and ambition spurring the New Space Industry we’re looking forward to private companies touching down on its rocky, and extremely dusty, surface in the next few years (hopefully this year!?).
