Optical Communication from Orbit

Recently, Atlas, Xenesis, and Laser Light have partnered together to form Empower Space with the goal of providing standardized space-to-ground optical transmission of data to worldwide customers from all orbits including, in the future, cislunar markets.

Pretty cool!

However, they’re not the only ones, facing competition from these other services:

• Transcelestial Technologies — Laser space communication technology.
