Recently, the Colorado School of Mines became the first university to offer a degree in Space Resources (mining). While this is exciting and the first of its kind, it’s by no means alone in offering degrees to set up graduates in the space industry; nor do you need to be at university to begin your education about the space industry.

That’s one of the most exciting things about “NewSpace”.

Education about space and science is moving out of the universities to local schools and non-profit organizations, encouraging imagination and critical thinking for the younger generations.

Take these, for example:

  • Kyrgyz Space Program — The first satellite built by girls from Kyrgyzstan.
  • Space Vaults — The best DIY platform for space education in Kuwait
  • Space Kidz India — Promoting Art, Science and Culture for students of India
  • Planet Zebunar — Fun, educational and inclusive galactic adventures for the next generation of innovators!

Find these, and many, many more in the full NSH database.
