New Story is proud to announce Keith Krach as the New Story Advisory Board Chairman. As Chairman and CEO of DocuSign, Krach built a world-class advisory board comprising over 250 top global executives, government officials and social entrepreneurs. This appointment represents another strategic move by New Story, following last month’s launch of 3D printed homes. Krach’s addition to the team will provide firepower to New Story’s noble cause through his legendary network and proven track record of building hyper-growth companies.

Krach is a Silicon Valley veteran, known for being a transformational leader, innovative entrepreneur, predictor of technological paradigm shifts, passionate mentor and builder of high-performance companies. Krach served as Chairman, CEO & President of DocuSign until 2017 and currently serves as Chairman. Earlier in his career, he was founder, Chairman/CEO of Ariba, Chairman of Board of Trustees at Purdue and GM’s youngest Vice President at age 26. He led the creation of the categories of Business-to-Business (B2B) Electronic Commerce, Mechanical Design Synthesis, eSignature and Digital Transaction Management (DTM), and he’s recognized as an early pioneer in the robotics industry. For his achievements, Krach has been recognized with such honors as E&Y National Entrepreneur of the Year, Bay Area’s Most Admired CEO and the World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer award.
While this is a new position for Krach, he is not new to New Story. He has been instrumental in the evolution of the organization as one of New Story’s first advisors, coaching CEO Brett Hagler since 2015. After Hurricane Matthew hit Haiti in 2016, Krach spearheaded New Story’s fundraising efforts by rallying Silicon Valley’s companies and execs to fund more than 100 home sin a matter of days.

New Story is a Silicon Valley based non-profit working to create a world where no human lives in survival mode by providing one of life’s most basic needs — shelter. The organization currently works in Mexico, Haiti, El Salvador, and Bolivia and, in just three years, has funded more than 1,500 homes building 12 communities for families in need. Their 100% model ensures that every penny of each donation goes to build homes while organization overhead and R&D is covered by private donors such as Y Combinator, prominent venture capitalists, and other leading executives. New Story unveiled the first 3D home printer for the developing world at SXSW in March. The 3D printed home garnered global attention with more than 16M views and 400+ outlets covering the story. And now the team will focus on bringing the innovative technology to print communities of homes for families that need it most.
