Recently, Goldman Sachs held their third annual Analyst Impact Fund competition in New York.

It’s a simple stage with four chairs and not much else, but it holds great potential. One by one, young analysts stand up to pitch CEO Lloyd Blankfein and the partnership committee, in hopes of securing a $150k grant for the nonprofit of their choice. The competition is funded by Goldman Sachs Gives, which has awarded more than $1.3 billion in grants since its inception in 2010.

New Story was honored to be represented by four articulate young analysts who delivered the core message of our organization with stunning clarity. Because of their hard work and skill, we were awarded a $75k grant to fund our innovation initiative: 3dhome.org

Alexandra, Francesca, Ellen, and Kelly From Team New Story

We’re tremendously grateful to have been a part of the Goldman Sachs Analyst Impact Fund competition this year.

As we press on, we continually grow more aware of the impact that smart, generous, driven people can have on the world. Thank you to Alexandra, Francesca, Ellen, and Kelly for going out on a limb for us.

And thank you Goldman Sachs for funding innovative ideas to build a better future.

You can see the New Story pitch here, starting at 38:17.
