On May 1st IBM’s Think event rolled into Auckland.

This year ThinkNZ brought 500+ executives together in The Cloud and Shed 10 to see how IBM technology is impacting the world around us and hear from amazing speakers like Commander Chris Hatfield.

Chris Hatfield’s talk was by far the highlight including singing his (incredible) revised version of David Bowie’s Space Oddity.

IBM Fellow — John Smith

John presented his Five in Five. Five predictions for the future of technology.

1 — Crypto Anchors and Blockchain

2 — Lattice Cryptography

3 — AI Powered robotic microprocessors

4 — Unbiased AI

5 — Quantum Computing

I had the privilege to interview John after his presentation.

Tomer Garzberg from Gronade

Gronade are an Australian company helping organisations re-think they way they can utilise datasets and reimagine the way they do business. I was excited to Interview Tomer after his talk in the afternoon break-out sessions.

Stephen Marshall

Stephen is the C-Suite Study Program Manager for Asia Pacific and I was interested to interview him to discover what C-Suite Leaders are thinking when it comes to Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Tech trends.

ThinkNZ was an incredible day. The speakers, activations, the Redbull simulator, the emergence of Blockchain as a major disrupter was brilliant to see.

Thanks for joining us at IBM ThinkNZ. See you in 2019.
