Today, we are excited to take our first step to better serving our growing community of soccer players all over the world.
We have always believed that our patented mobile live action game play could have applications beyond basketball, but the response and enthusiasm from the soccer community on HomeCourt been incredibly inspiring over the recent weeks, really pushing us to innovate faster to better support our soccer community during this time.
A big shoutout to Megan Rapione and Steve Nash who provided some invaluable guidance to help us take our first steps onto the pitch.
All You Need is a Phone and your Ball
No extra “smart” balls required
We started with two drills when we introduced ball handling in HomeCourt, and we are starting with two simple soccer drills today that incorporate the same HomeCourt live action game play while also providing room for athletes to exercise their creativity.
Dribbling
Soccer Dribble is our HomeCourt take on this classic ball control drill. Try different drills like tick-tock and pull backs, or make your own to see how many points you can rack up in 1 minute or less. Make sure you turn on your sound for some fun sound effects that keep you on your toes.
Juggling
Turn up the volume to hear the crowd! Juggling a ball has never been so fun. The longer you keep it up, the more points you score, and the more combos you unlock. Challenge your friends and move your way up the leaderboards on your team.
