Experiment (with) something new
Beliefs create our roadmap they say. And the map is not the territory.
For those of us who have experienced — let’s say extremely “dramatic” or “traumatic” situations- it’s especially interesting to investigate beliefs hidden under the surface of what we think we know…
I made it a profession by becoming a coach, learning hypnotherapy and studying more of that, which is beyond the eye and how to access. The real interesting part however, and this is why I write this message for you guys, is that, which you can’t even imagine! I keep being thrilled what else is possible. Here is my experiment:
The Unimaginable — that which I can’t even imagine
Since about 20 years I started my investigation: what if I play with talking to the subconscious, use suggestions in a relaxed state as kind of affirmations? I am not big in prayers, however, I believe “the force is with us” …. Here are two of several messages, I played with:
- “Let me be your instrument” — a message to that part of me that is not controlled by and bigger than thinking.
- “Surprise me!” — and saying that came with this childlike adventurer’s feeling of slightly scary curiosity.
To cut a long story short:
Things happened I couldn’t have imagined. Don’t want to and still love to brag about my brave attempts to explore those possibilities that scare the shit out of me, just this very last “experiment”: improv theater in spanish language and then film acting. It just happened, started 10 years ago, nothing super important and yet with a high learning factor about human nature, interpreting/communication and mostly fun co-creating — much more interesting than imagined.
If you get curious, please don’t hesitate to experiment with “messages” to talk to this part or yourself, that you don’t control by thinking and that creates that, which thinking can’t imagine.
