The Adidas global and American skate teams came together to hit the streets and playgrounds of Los Angeles in their latest skate short “Mid-City Merge.”

The Adidas team is stacked and they certainly didn’t hold back in the short film. The powerhouse cast includes professional skaters Dennis Busenitz, Lucas Puig, Benny Fairfax, Na-kel Smith, Tyshawn Jones, Silas Baxter-Neal, Alec Majerus, Nestor Judkins, Miles Silvas, Blondey McCoy, Rodrigo TX, Günes Özdogan, Jack Fardell, Gustav Tønnesen, Kevin Lowry, Chewy Cannon, Kaio Hillebrand, Nora Vasconcellos, and Frankie Spears. The nine-minute short was also an introduction for Norwegian shredder Magnus Bordewick, Adidas newest addition to the already talented global roster.

Shot in black-and-white to add drama and contrast, the grayscale adds an appealing aesthetic. Los Angeles’ landscape of infinite skate spots tied together by highways gives a glimpse into one of skateboarding’s most iconic urban backdrops.
