Pau Gasol Is Ruled Out For Game 4 Of Bulls-Cavs Series
The Chicago Bulls are up 2–1 in their seven game series against the Cleveland Cavaliers but they’ll be without Pau Gasol for a critical Game 4.
Gasol strained his left hamstring during Game 3 (although Gasol did say that the hamstring was an issue during Game 2 as well, where he struggled mightly) and Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau confirmed that the Bulls star would not be available for Sunday’s game against the Cavs on Sunday.
“We’ve dealt with injuries before, so next guy, get in there and get the job done,” Thibodeau said in his pregame press conference. “We have guys who are more than capable.”
Gasol was critical towards the Bulls Game 1 victory over the Cavs as he scored 21 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and racked up four assists. Taj Gibson and Nikola Mirotic are the likely candidates to fill in Gasol’s shoes for Game 4.
