Yankees Closer Andrew Miller Takes Subway To The Stadium

The New York Yankees are on a little run.

This weekend the bombers swept the Boston Red Sox at Fenway, a series that included Alex Rodriguez’s 660th home run. They are now in first place in the AL East.

A lot of the Yanks’ success this year can be attributed to their stellar bullpen, which is anchored by closer Andrew Miller.

Miller signed a four-year, $36 million contract with the Yankees this offseason, but being paid crazy money to throw one inning of baseball doesn’t mean he’s too good to take the subway to work.

The above picture was snapped by Yankee redditor Game_Two on his way to the Stadium. Not only did Miller oblige for the photo, but he also chatted with his new fan for 10 minutes. Sweet.
