All good things come in threes: Porsche, #SLUSH19 and Taycan
In the past years, SLUSH conference in Helsinki (NOV 21–22) has grown into the largest single gathering of venture capital in the world — with 4,000 of the most promising startups from Europe and way beyond as well as 2,000 investors ranging from VCs to angels, CVCs, and LPs, all looking for the next big thing.
It was right there, that we first stepped out of our comfort zone to break new ground, literally. Three years ago, we joined SLUSH as our first so-called ‘Beyond Automotive’ appearance, meaning that we left the well-trodden paths of conventional automotive exhibitions to explore new territories. Followed by re:publica and NOAH Conference in Berlin earlier this year as well as TNW in Amsterdam and Web Summit in Lisbon, we dive deeper into the international tech world to engage the dialogue and connect with bright minds. This week, we’re taking part in Europe’s biggest startup gathering at Helsinki Expo and Convention Center, the SLUSH, for the third time in a row as a strategic key partner. And we can’t wait to enter the halls of this awesome conference (again).
Soul, electrified
And this year we got something new for you during the conference: The Taycan, the first full-electric Porsche, enters the stage in Helsinki. After a spectacular world premiere held simultaneously on three continents, a debut at IAA in Frankfurt and at the Web Summit in Lisbon, we’re thrilled to bring a new era of electric performance to #SLUSH19 and Finland. The Taycan links our heritage to the future, it’s a window into the future of new mobility. It embodies our soul, electrified.
Along the premiere of the Taycan in Finland, if they are lucky, SLUSH visitors are among the first to have the unique opportunity and take a ride in the brand new all-electric Taycan through the streets of Helsinki and get a lot of insights into our newest model — tackling e-performance, innovation, brand new design and a lot of data and technology together with great partners e.g. Splunk. Because there’s so much more to it than (just) the hardware. It is about the future of mobility for a better, electric tomorrow. It is about the driving experience and the digital experience. This is why the activities, pitches, panels and presentations at our SLUSH booth will put the many facets of the Porsche Taycan into focus. See you there?
Giving the forefront of tech a stage
But #SLUSH19 is also about tech. And Porsche is about tech, too. About smart technologies and collaboration between founders and corporates. The conference in Helsinki is a platform to connect, to innovate and a place to feel like home. Last year, startups and investors pre-booked over 10,000 (!) meetings that were held during the two-day event.
We want to put this year into focus what’s most important for us: The customer, our partners, startups with which we co-opt and our colleagues who are eagerly working on the mobility of the future. All together combining our tradition and our durable products with technologies of tomorrow to mirror things digitally as well.
In collaboration with partners from the start-up scene, we will be presenting our own success stories in interesting talks and workshops during #SLUSH19. At our booth right next to the meeting area, we are welcoming entrepreneurs from all over the world and bring them together with our experts in the areas of innovation, e-performance, startup collaboration and smart mobility to share #nextvisions.
