Direction at Porsche Digital Lab: Hi, I’m Mahdi!
On the management level of Porsche Digital Lab, Dr. Mahdi Manesh leads the way toward the future of innovation. The software engineering veteran of over ten years has previously worked as a senior researcher and lecturer at the University of Koblenz-Landau, where he also published numerous papers on engineering flexible software.
High-quality software engineering is essential to develop new prototypes and products.
While his current position as Director at Porsche Digital Lab, as well as Senior Manager at the Porsche subsidiary MHP is not bound to a university campus, he nonetheless continues to conduct research and to inspire new talents in the fields of software engineering. As such, his responsibility also lies in hiring new colleagues and performing high-level management tasks.
One approach that Mahdi takes to scouting for new talents and developments is watching the German startup scene very closely. Occasionally, this will even coincide with him going back to university for a day, such as he did during his visit to the Startup Selection Day in Stuttgart.
