Transformation never succeeds alone, only together. Porsche represents pioneering spirit and tradition as it does stand for curiosity. Through our start-up ecosystem, we partner with founders at any stage. This idea also accompanies us in our guest article series, where we invite inspiring industry leaders to share their views on digitalization and innovation.

Taycan GTS: CO₂ emissions combined (WLTP) 0 g/km, electric power consumption* combined (WLTP) 23.3–20.3 kWh/100 km / Taycan GTS Sport Turismo: electric power consumption* combined (WLTP) 24.1–21.0 kWh/100 km, CO₂ emissions combined (WLTP) 0 g/km

Visionary thinking and utilizing technological progress are key drivers for the future of Porsche. Digitalization is a central anchor of our Strategy 2030 and focuses on building our own digital competencies and involving strategic partners. This already makes clear, that not only our cars are changing, but all areas of our organization and the way we work. Transformation cannot be done alone, which is why we build an open ecosystem and enhance our ability to work seamlessly with our partners. As a company with strong heritage, we benefit extremely from these impulses and know-how — whether from successful tech companies or young entrepreneurs who are approaching challenges in a completely novel way.

With our new guest post series on our tech blog #NextLevelGermanEngineering, we look even further beyond the horizon. We invite inspiring people from other companies and different industries to share their views on digitalization and innovation. We want to understand their way of thinking, learn new methods and also challenge ourselves.

Our innovation network: The Porsche start-up ecosystem

We are driven by perfection, but we are far from perfect. Porsche stands for performance, pioneering spirit, and technology. Our ecosystem is open and flexible like never before, also within the company. Thanks to our digital product organization, self-organized teams work across departments according to the same methods, principles, and processes. This enables us to be fast while being aligned and working towards the same goals.

In addition, we are fortunate to have access to a competent network of partners. Porsche Digital is our technology and digital hub that finds new business models and optimizes existing products. It spawned Forward31, a company builder that turns strong ideas into reality and thus builds a portfolio of start-ups. The early-stage investor APX invests in young founders and has already contributed to more than 100 start-ups. In addition, Porsche AG has its own venture capitalist. Porsche Ventures invests primarily in companies in the early-growth phase, currently holding a stake in around 30 companies.

Our ecosystem has a connection point to anyone with a vision, who wants to turn their dream into reality.

Welcoming new voices to our blog

We believe that everyone has something valuable to share. Our partnerships lead to speed and innovation, great results, and even more focus on the perspective of our customers. With this spirit, we are now kicking off our guest post series. There are many bright minds out there who can inspire us and show us new perspectives.

In the next weeks, we will welcome a varied set of those voices to the blog. Daniela Werlich, CTO at Customcells Itzehoe, represents a modern battery cell company that will become the pacesetter for a world-changing technological transformation. Dr. Wolfgang Gründiger is a digital leader working on solutions for current challenges like climate change and digital disruption. Magdalena Rogl focuses on equal opportunities as the project lead of diversity and inclusion at Microsoft Germany.

Stay tuned for the articles to come!
