Slush 2018 is over. 3,100 startups, 1,800 investors and over 20,000 people went home. What stays is the idea: Change the attitude towards entrepreneurship by helping thrive and pass their knowledge to the next generation of founders.

So what remains after two days? What can we pass to the next generation of founders?

Entrepreneurship is a state of mind

We are 70 years old. It is our fate to either fade out or leave no stone unturned to move forward. But we know from sports, every race is a new game. So we must preserve the fire, not the ashes.

Entrepreneurs are the true game-changer

Technology is a great slave, but a terrible master. We heard pitches that praised the next game-changing blockchainified AI-solution for autonomous driving based on quantum computing…seriously? What really stands out are the entrepreneurs.

Diverse mindsets are key

We all tend to stay with our hive. The real voyage of discovery is not to see foreign lands, but to see the existing with new eyes. We had a mesmerizing workshop with WIRED and entrepreneurs to discuss the next 70 years.

Slush 2018 in Helsinki

The conclusion is simple: The future belongs to those, who act. Or in other words: ‚I couldn’t find the sports car of my dreams, so I built it myself‘. And this is how we shape the next 70 years!
