Introducing Next Perspective

Changing the narrative on millennials, politics, and foreign policy.

Of all the statements made about the world in 2016, there is one that encompasses both our insecurity and our inspiration: today’s young people are already shaping the future, and we will only continue to do so more actively.

Millennials worldwide revolutionize technology and participate in revolution. We create pop culture and work on political campaigns. We understand the new dimensions of the world — the power of social media to connect — and the established institutions and theories they disrupt and work within. With the domestic politics of many countries contentious at best, and the international stage set for new types of conflict and disagreement, we follow the news, because we know we’ll have to live it.

Here, at Next Perspective, we want to write it, too.

Next Perspective is a platform for analysis, argument, and commentary on the issues that drive world politics and shape our global future. Our writers live in different countries, have diverse ideological viewpoints, and offer different solutions for the problems they see. We share a commitment to understanding the world as it is and as it could be, and sharing that viewpoint — the next perspective — with a diverse and engaged readership.
