Today, NEXT VENTŪRES is thrilled to share that we’ve partnered with Humane in its $100MM Series B financing. This capital will enable the team to continue building on the promise of creating new computing experiences in a fascinating and complex intelligence age.
With great innovation there must be phenomenal talent and people behind it. Bethany and Imran are a very special pair of founders. Bethany Bongiorno, Humane’s CEO, was a software engineering director at Apple, and Imran Chaudhri, who is Humane’s chairman and president, was Apple’s former director of design. This power duo is responsible for many of the household name products we use today, such as the iPhone, iPad, and OSX. This team has a storied past, but what’s ahead will be their legacy.
Bethany and Imran started out on a mission to move the needle forward both technologically and experientially. Given Imran’s hand in creating the iPhone and Bethany’s deep involvement in shipping beautiful products to billions of people worldwide, they believed it was time for a tectonic shift in how we interact with personal technology. If there is a team you’d want at the helm of a massive opportunity to rethink human interaction, it would undoubtedly be them.
