Another week has passed, and we’ve made a ton of progress yet again. Here are some of the highlights we’ll cover:

  • NEXT is back on CoinMarketCap & Coingecko
  • Payt airdrop visual issues have been traced & resolved
  • Twitter campaign has started
  • Dark Mode has been optimized and is now being tested before deployment
  • Market competitive fees are now implemented & being tested (And that’s a good thing)
  • ECC is now available for trading

NEXT is back!

After being an untracked asset on CoinMarketCap and Coingecko for several months, NEXT is now being tracked once again. We hope you’re just as excited as we are as we feel this is an acknowledgment of our team’s hard work and dedication. With this accomplishment, we’re opening the doors for the crypto community to find us, track us, and, more importantly, follow their investment in the many portfolio trackers out there.

PAYT airdrop visuals

Back in December, our community received a Payt airdrop in their wallet. A visual bug caused users not to see their tokens in their NEXT.exchange wallet. We’ve tracked down and resolved the issue, and users new to the platform will no longer have this issue. Users affected by this can now press the Payaccept deposit button once and refresh the wallet page shortly after. This will result in the earlier transferred payt to appear inside the wallet.

Launch of our Twitter campaign

We’re finally at the stage where we feel we’re ready for the NEXT step, pun intended. We’ve started actively marketing NEXT.exchange on our Twitter by posting more content and focussing on involving the crypto community with polls. Our tweet impressions are up by 275%, and mentions have increased by a stunning 6300%.

Dark Mode

At our relaunch, we’ve introduced dark mode. Although buggy, the appearance has been very well received by our community. We’ve now had the time to implement dark mode correctly and made a few tweaks. Dark Mode is currently being tested on our staging environment and is almost ready for deployment.

Market fees implemented

There aren’t many cases in which fees are a good thing, except for NEXT holders. With the implementation of very market competitive fees, we will start generating revenue. All company revenue minus operating costs will eventually be redistributed to NEXT holders. We all benefit! Fee implementation is currently being thoroughly tested at our staging environment and will be released soon.

ECC is now tradable on NEXT.exchange

There is no exchange without respected projects. With the listing of ECC, we’ve added a very promising project to our exchange. In collaboration with ECC we’re creating an article for our community to share some of its unique features. Unfortunately, we did not finish it in time for this week’s update — something to look forward to over the weekend.

The NEXT team can’t thank you enough for your love and support. Launching an exchange is no easy task and tiresome from time to time, but with the energy you guys provide, there is no stopping NEXT.
