I technically opened for T.I. last week
Last week I had the honor to panel at the Smart City Atlanta Expo during National Recovery Month to discuss the role of technology and community to combat the opioid epidemic.
The event was filled with future-thinking individuals from across the country from the private, public and nonprofit sectors. Mayors, CEOs, CIOs, Technologists and others came together to share ideas for sustainable and equitable growth of our cities into the future. New technology from autonomous shipping trucks to renewable energy transport was debuted at the event.
My panel, “Building Bridges”, included community leaders from around the country, specifically in the substance use disorder (SUD) and opioid use disorder (OUD) recovery fields. It was great to discuss our work at NextStep HealthTech and share our mission to build brigdes to wellness and recovery for individuals suffering from SUD, OUD, and related often co-occuring mental health conditions.
