Business and accountants using Xenett have access to a feature that enables them to generate queries for their clients on each transaction row. This functionality keeps the communications between CPAs and their clients within the confinement of that transaction. Think of comments feature in excel sheet — but for bookkeeping.

We used principles of interface design to create the experience of query building in order to get faster responses. When the accountant needs answers to a discrepancy, they can simply create a query for a single or multiple transactions and tag their clients.

Example of a query built by CPA

These customers access to their own client portal where they are notified about queries they are tagged in. The interface design that displayes a pin point transaction along with the question, is super easy for the client to understand, recall and provide response. We also suggested this experience to be translated for the mobile version, so that all of these tasks can be done on the go — thus reducing the amount of dependancies an accountant has on their clients in order to keep doing their routine tasks.

This streamlined approach to collaboration ensures that both accountants and their clients can work together more effectively, making the process of closing accounts quicker and more efficient.
